Our Favorite Beauty Products From 16 Unexpected Retailers

I love shopping all things beauty from Sephora and Ulta as much as the rest, but sometimes I want even more of a one-stop shop. AKA I want to buy my beauty necessities from the same place I’m ordering my clothes, for convenience sake. Thankfully, our fave retailers are dipping their toes into the world of beauty.

These shops aren’t just carrying lip glosses you thumb through while waiting in line to check-out. We’re talking carefully curated beauty lines that are about to become your new go-to’s. From all natural body scrubs to pigmented lipsticks, there’s something for everyone. Apologies in advance because your online shopping addiction is on track to becoming a whole lot worse. Here are 16 unexpected retailers that actually have great beauty products — and our go-to picks.

1. Free People

We already know and love Free People for their free-spirited clothing, but over a year ago they launched beauty and wellness products that we immediately fell for. Nothing they offer is tested on animals and it is all completely natural. All of their products gracefully match the Free People shopper and range from “Dream Dust” to body scrubs and everything in between. We love the coffee and grapefruit body scrub that completely refreshes your skin.

Our favorite product: Coffee Grapefruit Body Scrub

2. Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters is another retailer where we’re snagging beauty products. Urban carries some of our favorite lines like Mario Badescu, Milk Makeup, and Frank Body. They often create blog posts to feature new or exclusive beauty products. Plus, they categorize their products into helpful categories. Like, “dry, flaky skin” or “don’t feel like washing your hair?” That makes shopping new cosmetics much simpler.

Our favorite product: Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

3. Revolve

Revolve is our favorite retailer for exclusive beauty boxes. Their latest beauty box, The Cali Girl Glow, is in collaboration with blogger Sincerely Jules. The box has everything you need to be sun-kissed and glowing. However, if you just want one or two new beauty products, you can also purchase them individually as Revolve has a huge selection of items.

Our favorite product: Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Mist

4. Topshop

We love Topshop for their clothes but also their shockingly cheap makeup picks. Here you can find all the staples like bold lipsticks and sparkling eye shadows. Topshop also has your nails covered, so look no further for all things makeup.

Our favorite product: Chameleon Glow in Wax + Wane

5. Forever 21

Forever 21 has always been our go-to for just about any outfit necessity imaginable. Now they cover all of our beauty needs as well. Our favorite find is this Beauty Bakerie highlighter because it’s the perfect gold dust to add shimmer wherever you want it, plus it comes in a cute ice-cream container. If you’d rather shop in store than online, Forever 21 is opening their first stand-alone beauty store, Riley Rose, later this month.

Our favorite product: Beauty Bakerie Glistened Illuminator

6. PacSun

PacSun just launched their beauty line a year ago. Although their beauty section is still very small, it does include this lip balm that reacts with your skin’s pH levels to create the perfect shade of pink lips. The curated products include face masks, perfumes, and even animal shaped candles.

Our favorite product: Winky Lux Pink Flower Lip Balm

7. ASOS

ASOS is our favorite online retailer because of the endless amounts of clothing brands carried. Their beauty products aren’t the type that you’ll add to your cart just to qualify for free shipping; they carry plenty of the brands we always shop for. If you’re like us, then you’ll need a little guidance with over 100 beauty brands. Luckily, the website includes how-to tutorials.

Our favorite product: The Ordinary Buffet

8. Target

You might be asking why Target is on this list because (obviously) we get our beauty products here all the time. However, if you’re always shopping in store you may not know of the huge array of beauty products featured online. Plus, the website is constantly having sales. Target has everything you need from Korean skincare favorites to the cheap mascara you’ve been using since your mom first let you try make-up. When we’re in the mood to treat ourselves we head straight to the premium skin care and never look back.

Our favorite product: Batiste Cherry Fruity & Cheeky Dry Shampoo

9. Net-A-Porter

Net-A-Porter is known for it’s designer fashions but not all of their beauty products are sold at designer prices. We can’t help but crave the Givenchy beauty line but the website also carries our favorite haircare brand, Oribe, and the more affordable line, NARS. We love their travel-sized staples for when we’re always on the go.

Our favorite product: Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

10. Anthropologie

Anthropologie is probably the place where your mom frequents and every time, you ask her to bring you home a candle. But that’s not all they’re good for. Anthropologie’s beauty products are incredibly curated to keep your skin happy and your body soft. Like Urban Outfitters, Anthro also carries our favorites from Mario Badescu. We can’t resist all of the face masks and bath soaks for our post-work relaxation.

Our favorite product: Mario Badescu Facial Spray

11. Victoria’s Secret

In middle school, Victoria’s Secret is where we went for locker room body mist and PINK lip glosses. Now that we are past that… the one-stop lingerie shop has created beauty for the grown up girls we’ve become. We will never shy away from their sexy fragrances but it’s their lip products that have caught our attention. With everything from plumpers to gloss, you’re sure to find the best accessory for that pout.

Our favorite product: Liquid Color Intense Lip Lacquer

12. Nylon

Nylon is better known for it’s online and print content but you also have the option to shop on their website. With plenty of curated beauty brands they’ve got just about everything you could possibly need. We’re suckers for Herbivore Botanicals refreshing products but we also love a good mascara.

Our favorite product: Punker Unrivaled Volume & Curl Lash Wax

13. Boohoo

The U.K.-based retailer is very new to beauty territory. Their beauty line covers the basics but everything is around $10 or less. We can never deny extremely wallet-friendly make-up. So if you’re on a budget go ahead and shop their cheap (but totally cute) clothing and don’t be afraid to add a pigmented eye-shadow to the cart.

Our favorite product: Boohoo 8 Shade Bronze Eye Palette

14. Lulus

Lulus has always been an online clothing destination but to us they’re much more than that. We love their beauty blog posts that show you exactly how to get the look with the products they sell. Finally shopping for the right make-up is made a little bit easier. Our faves can be found in the lip category, with a bunch of bold or subtle options.

Our favorite product: Ardency Inn Modster Supercharged Lovecat Brick Red Lip Color

15. Amazon

It’s no secret that Amazon has literally everything. It can make finding the right beauty product a little tricky but trust us if you look hard enough, you will find amazing products. Amazon is the best when you know exactly what you’re looking for but they’ve made their beauty section easy to browse with a lot of friendly categories. Allure has also partnered with Amazon to make your beauty routine a breeze. Our fave Amazon find will always be the rose petal, Witch Hazel toner.

Our favorite product: Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera

16. H&M;

We love H&M; for all of their basics in apparel and beauty. What we also love is their conscious line that is more eco-friendly than ever before. The new beauty line was launched a little over a year ago and everything is created with certified organic ingredients. The must-haves are the body care and the lip balms.

Our favorite product: Conscious Ginger Lip Balm
