17 TV Casts That Had The Most Epic Instagram Reunions

TV reunions are one of our favorite things. We love seeing our favorite casts reunite and revisit the magic they created together on screen. Sometimes, like with the cast of Fuller House, we’re gifted with not just a reunion but several brand new seasons of togetherness. Other times, like with the cast of Friends, all we get is an Instagram picture and the far-fetched hope that one day all the pieces will fall into place and we’ll get new episodes of our favorite shows.

We’ve rounded up 17 of our favorite TV casts who had the most epic Instagram reunions. Are you holding out hope that any of these photos are leading to brand new seasons of old favorites?

18. The Friends Cast

When asked about the on-screen reunions they’d most like to see, the number one answer TV fans give is almost always Friends. This show is pretty universally loved, and even though we already have ten seasons to watch through, we could definitely do with ten more. Unfortunately for us, some of the cast members have been very emphatic about the fact that they have no intentions of ever signing on for a reboot. BUT, we were gifted with an almost total cast reunion on Kaley Cuoco’s Instagram. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer got together to tape the NBC special Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows, and they all look like hardly a day has gone by the Friends finale over a decade ago.

17. The Gilmore Girls Cast

The Gilmore Girls cast had one of the most iconic Instagram reunions of all time. After spending almost a decade begging for more episodes to flush out Lorelai and Rory’s story, fans were finally granted their wish when rumors began swirling that Netflix was in talks to bring the Stars Hollow magic back to the small screen. The rumors were finally confirmed when a picture of the series’ (almost) full cast appeared on Arielle Kebbel Instagram. The caption? A simple “It’s official!” The photo set off a fast-paced, highly caffeinated conversation about whether or not the reboot would live up to the original, and it seems that, for the most part, fans would agree that it did.

16. The Entourage Cast

Remember when the Entourage movie came out? If you don’t, don’t feel too bad. The 2015 flick had generally negative reviews, and didn’t earn that much money. The only thing that it really got right was that it reunited the cast of everyone’s favorite early 2000s bro show. Before the movie came out, and it was revealed to be a general flop, the show’s star Adrian Grenier posted an Instagram of the cast “getting into character with a night out.” The pre-release snap created a lot of hype for the movie, especially because – OMG – everyone looks exactly the same.

15. The That ‘70s Show Cast

That ‘70s Show remains one of our favorite guilty pleasure shows to this day. If you can disregard the entire last season (which was truly just a hot mess), then the reruns are actually gems. The show did so well, that it even inspired a British remake Days Like These. So when it went off the air in 2006, we were all a little sad that we’d never see Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama together again. Until Danny posted a picture of the six pals on his Instagram, just doing the same old thing they did last week. Aw! Our hearts!

14. The Boy Meets World Cast

Feeeeeny! Look, all we want is some new Boy Meets World episodes. And we don’t mean these so-so Girl Meets World episodes that the Disney Channel tried out, but the good, old-fashioned, ‘90s era Boy Meets World ones that we grew up with. We want to see Ben Savage, Rider Strong and Danielle Fishel back to their old antics and learning good lessons from William Daniels. And if we can’t have it on screen, then we’ll have to settle for this Insta that Ben savage posted of the OG “Feeny Crew.” As one user commented, it makes us feel like kids again seeing them all reunited.

13. The All That Cast

Ready yet? Get set! It’s allllll that! Few places have power enough to bring together casts who haven’t publically reunited in years like Comic-Con does. In 2015, former All That cast members reunited at the mega-convention. Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg and Kenan Thompson came together for a panel that gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at their sketch comedy series. They also took this legendary photo that made it to The Splat’s Instagram page. We really wish we could have been a fly on the wall during this photo shoot. Imagine how funny!

12. The One Tree Hill Cast

We love Sophia Bush for making all of our teenage dreams come true, and posting this picture of the One Tree Hill cast long after they all left Tree Hill, North Carolina behind. Paul Johansson, Bethany Joy Lenz, Lee Norris, Stephen Colletti, Antwon Tanner, Daphne Zuniga, and Brooke Davis grabbed a couple of drinks together at a local bar. We wonder how much relationship drama, sibling rivalry, and high school shenanigans were rehashed during this happy hour? Sophia hashtagged #likeitwasyesterday and #pickuprightwherweleftoff, so clearly this gang still knows how to have a good time.

11. The Full House Cast

Full House is another one of those canonical shows that finally gave fans the reboot they so desperately wanted. Netflix just renewed Fuller House for a fourth season, which means that fans are loving it as much as the original, which ran for eight years. One reason for that? The cast gives us lots of behind the scenes peeks into the show, like this Instagram reunion of Bob Saget, Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Lori Loughlin. Now if only they could convince Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to join in on one of these snaps!

10. The Friday Night Lights Cast

We’re not huge criers when it comes to TV shows. It has to take something really special or tragic to break open our cold dead hearts and start the tears a’flowin. But Friday Night Lights was one of those few shows that had us shedding a few tears almost every week. The high school football/small town drama, which ran for five seasons, is often referred to as one of the greatest TV dramas of this century — an accolade we totally agree with. Which is why we reached for the tissues as soon as we saw this photo on Scott Porter’s Instagram. Look at Jason Street standing on his own two feet again! It’s almost too much for us to handle.

9. The Laguna Beach Cast

Oh la la! The Laguna Beach boys were some of the finest high school seniors on reality TV in the early ‘00s. Stephen Colletti? Trey Phillips? Every teenage girl had a little crush on these Laguna Beach High School boys back then. So you’d be delighted to know that they’re all still incredibly handsome today. Dieter Schmitz posted this photo of him and his high school chums (including Jonathon Bernard) at their friend Ben Singer’s wedding in 2004. Can you believe that ten whole years have passed? We’re glad to see that this friendship withstood the reality TV curse that so many others fall prey to.

8. The Lizzie McGuire Cast

Hey now, hey now, this is what dreams are made of! Jake Thomas posted this picture of his reunion with former Lizzie McGuire co-star’s Hilary Duff and Lalaine Vergara-Paras. The trio enjoyed a night out bowling, and, we’re sure, reminiscing on the hijinks and adventures they had on set while filming all 65 episodes and the follow-up movie. All that’s missing is Adam Lamberg. These child actors haven’t appeared on screen together since the middle of the second season of Lizzie McGuire (Lalaine left the show earlier than the others in order to film a separate Disney Channel Original Movie). We want Gordo!

7. The Hannah Montana Cast

It seems like just yesterday that we were settling into our couches with a Capri Sun for an after-school marathon of Hannah Montana. In reality, it’s coming up on a decade since the show went off the air, and so much has changed for the cast members. Miley Cyrus has remained in the public eye the most, and her ups and downs have been widely chronicled by tabloids and celebrity blogs all around the world. Emily Osment led the cast of Young and Hungry for five seasons on ABC Family, and Mitchel Musso spent some time working on other projects (most notably Phineas and Ferb) before being charged with a DUI in 2011 and taking a step back from the Hollywood scene for a while. But one thing that hasn’t changed? The friendship between the stars. Miley posted this photo of her and Emily hanging out recently, and the three post tons of throwbacks on Instagram all the time. We love seeing that they remain close IRL.

6. The Scrubs Cast

Easter is a family holiday, and what better way to spend it than with your TV family? Christa Miller posted this photo of herself with several of her former Scrubs co-stars. Donald Faison who played Turk, Zach Braff who played J.D., and John C. McGinley who played Dr. Cox flank the beauty in their Sunday best. Christa’s husband, Bill Lawrence created the sitcom, and played holiday host to this group, setting the scene, once again, for one of the best ensemble performances of all time. If this photo has you itching to re-visit all of Scared Heart’s kooky doctors and patients, Hulu currently has all 9 seasons available for screening.

5. The Office Cast

OMG! Jim and Pam have always been relationship goals. Their love story is probably the cutest one that was ever written for TV, and the episodes where they finally get together, get engaged and get married are iconic (and constantly on replay thanks to Netflix!). So this The Office Instagram reunion literally had our hearts all aflutter. John Krasinski posted this photo of him and Jenna Fischer after she went to see his off-Broadway show, Dry Powder, in 2016. Clearly the love and support is still there between this perfect on-screen couple!

4. The Parks and Rec Cast

You know what’s better than a TV cast reuniting? A TV cast reuniting to celebrate a fictional holiday created by their show. Which is exactly what the cast of Parks and Rec did in February 2018. Kathryn Hahn, Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler and Aubrey Plaza posed for a selfie while they were celebrating Galentine’s Day, and Aubrey later posted it to her Instagram, captioning it, “Happy happy galentines day. These women keep me alive.” We love seeing these ladies celebrate each other, the work they’ve done, and their incredible friendship! Way better than being former co-stars who pick each other apart over social media and tear each other down. True role models.

3. The Wizards of Waverly Place Cast

In 2017, the Wizards of Waverly Place cast reunited for the sweetest reason: David Henrie’s wedding. While more than one picture of the gang made the rounds on Instagram, this one, featuring Jake T. Austin, David DeLuise, Maria Canals-Barrera, David Henrie, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Stone is our favorite of the day. The cast looks so elegant and happy (there were some real glow-up’s in the five years between the show’s finale and the wedding), and it’s clear that the love is still there between them. It seems that theirs is a truly magical connection.

2. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Cast

Finally, on a beach somewhere near Bel-Air, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air cast reunited for a little lunch and posed for this photo that Alfonso Ribeiro posted to his Instagram account. Everyone was there: Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Prasons, Joseph Marcell and Daphne Maxwell Reid. The only person missing was James Avery, aka Philip Banks, who passed in 2013. But Alfonso sweetly acknowledged their missing family member saying, “wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.” We wonder if they all headed to the court for a little “b-ball outside the school” after they finished their meal?

1. The Vampire Diaries Cast

We love it when the former cast of the Vampire Diaries meet up. While they haven’t had a full cast reunion (yet!) since the show ended in 2017, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley have snapped a few photos together since starring as sometimes-lovers on the supernatural hit show. Paul and his TV brother Ian Somerhalder also treated fans to a photo in February 2018. Now we’ve just gotta get the whole group together!
