In case you haven’t heard, you can now watch every single episode of Friends streaming on Netflix. So when you see a rerun about to start on TBS, pull that episode up on Netflix, and you can finish it ten minutes faster! Take that, commercials!
If, however, you’d prefer to watch the same actors who starred on that show acting independently of each other in other TV and film roles… you should still go to Netflix. The site has a bunch of other titles from the six main actors, from before and after the show made them famous. And we rounded those titles up right here with trailers for your perusal.
Jennifer Aniston
1. Leprechaun
There’s a very good chance you knew that Jennifer Aniston starred in this movie when she was just starting out, but have you actually seen it? Well, now you can.
2. Bruce Almighty
In the mood to watch Jim Carrey use his godlike abilities to make Jennifer’s boobs bigger? Then step right up!
3. The Switch
Just your typical, run-of-the-mill comedy about switching out sperm samples. Nothing to see here.
4. Picture Perfect
If you like fakelationships, go forth and enjoy.
5. She’s the One
Lots of romantic complications, co-starring Cameron Diaz.
6. Management
Are all these movies starting to seem the same to you? Yeah, me too.
Matthew Perry
1. Ally McBeal
Don’t start watching the whole show thinking he’s a regular (unless you just really want to watch all of Ally McBeal, in which case go forth). Matthew guest-starred in two episodes in season five titled “Love is All Around” parts one and two.
2. The Whole Nine Yards
You know those movies where you’ve heard of them, and you know who’s in them, but you’ve never seen them and you also don’t really know what they’re about? This is one of those movies for me. Maybe I should let Netflix help me fix that.
Courteney Cox
1. If It’s Tuesday, It Still Must Be Belgium
This was a TV movie remake of a 1969 film about a tour guide taking a group of Americans across Europe. It’s from 1987 and looks cheesy as hell. Enjoy.
2. Scream 1, 2, 3, 4
I’m not going to list them all separately, but if you want to have a marathon, go right ahead.
3. Cocoon: The Return
More young Courteney, this time in the sequel to that movie where the old people go into space.
4. Murder, She Wrote
Once again, don’t watch the whole series (unless you want to). Courteney guest-starred in the season three episodes “Death Stalks the Big Top” parts one and two.
5. The Opposite Sex and How To Live With Them
So much pre-Friends Courteney, so little time! This one has an 8% on Rotten Tomatoes. Exciting!
David Schwimmer
1. Happy Holidays from Madagascar
Remember when Friends had just ended and you were like “Gee, I wonder what David Schwimmer’s been up to” and it turned out he was up to voicing a giraffe? Well, here he is voicing that giraffe again.
2. The Pallbearer
Gwyneth Paltrow is in this. Do I really need to say anything else?
3. Since You’ve Been Gone
If you have the Kelly Clarkson song stuck in your head now, raise your hand!
4. The Iceman
This is a more recent title which also stars Michael Shannon, Chris Evans and James Franco. Something for everybody?
Lisa Kudrow
1. Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion
If you’ve never seen this movie… why have you never seen this movie?
2. The Other Woman
Not the one starring Kate Upton’s boobs. The one starring Natalie Portman’s boobs.
Matt LeBlanc
1. Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
Apparently he was in this.
2. Reform School Girl
I couldn’t even find a trailer for this, but it was a TV movie in which Matt plays a “bad boy” named Vince. It aired the same year Friends premiered. Talk about a life-changing role.
